Coffee by the tats

Lady cofeeePortlanders are a bunch of spoiled brats.

The city boasts a bounty of delicious java and we expect the best.

Travel presents an opportunity for caffeine adventure and we scout out coffee shops when we journey.

Our most mouth-watering café is a few blocks from Columbia University called Kuro Kuma in Harlem.

Their brand, Counter Culture Coffee, is some of the best ever sipped.

We had less luck on the New Jersey coast where we have learned the trick of ordering a Red Eye.

Red Eye is the East Coast vernacular for Portland’s Shot in the Dark: a brewed mug with a slug of espresso.

My Honey judges the quality of coffee by the number of tattoos sported by the barista: the more the tats the better the coffee.
